Fabulous Finals Day Results
Last Sunday the 2019 tournament finals took place under a blazing sun with a great crowd and some fantastic tennis was played and enjoyed by all those attending. A tea shop (offering bagels, strawberries and cream and cake) was organised by Bev Bamford, and sampled by yours truly. Later a BBQ was available and also much enjoyed by all. The whole day was organised brilliantly by our Head Coach, Marina Lavarello, and our men's team captain, Matt Bamford. We have had many wonderful finals days recently but in terms of organisational and on-court brilliance this was the best. The club owes Marina and Matt a great deal. The results of the main and plate tournaments (for first-round losers) are below.
