Court Refurbishment Starts Saturday

Replacement of the court surfaces in the block of four courts will start this Saturday and last up to three weeks. Although they are not worn, they have become dangerously slippery, especially over the winter. It is likely that all four courts will be unavailable for play therefore from Aug 18 until Sept 10th. The coaching programme was in any case beginning its two-week holiday then and, for this year, has been suspended for a further week. Play will thus most likely be limited to the block of three courts during this period.

We are also in the process of procuring tenders to build a toilet block accessible from the current tennis pavilion. I will let you know as and when any implementation decision has been made and what impact this might have on use of club facilities.
