PLEASE NOTE

We apologise, but there is NO PARKING AVAILABLE on this day in the drive or car park areas between the hours of 8:30am and 1pm.

Primrose Hill Cricket Club

Dear Members,

As you are aware, Brondesbury Sports Club (BSC) entered into an agreement in 2016 with Primrose Hill Cricket Club (PHCC).

As a part of the arrangement it was agreed that PHCC would invest in key cricket facilities at our club, including new cricket nets and wickets etc. PHCC also made some investments into the club house last year which was in need of repair.

At its most recent committee meeting, BSC decided to use its own funds for capital costs related to cricket facilities at its grounds and has therefore repaid PHCC the investment it has made to date. The current agreement between PHCC and BSC/BCC will finish at the end of the colts season this year (i.e. 31st July) and discussions are on-going as to future arrangements for junior cricket at the club.

Bar and Shower Updates

Dear Members,

Please don't be alarmed by the title, just some refurbishment updates:

The bar is open this Friday 7th April 7:30pm-11:00pm and Saturday 8th April 11am-7pm. More hours will be confirmed soon.

The Men's showers will be ready on Saturday afternoon.

Refurbishment and Bar Update

Dear Members,

After several weeks of refurbishments we are pleased to confirm these are almost complete and we are nearly ready to reopen the bar.

The refurbishment project has included:

- away changing room showers
- women's toilets and showers
- men's toilets and showers
- new ceiling panels and lights in bar
- replacement of old red bar sofas
- new bar floor (to be installed)

The new bar floor will be installed over two days, . The changing room and toilet facilities will still be in use but please be careful during this time.

We are expecting all works to be completed and the bar ready for reopening .  Bar opening hours are still being finalised but will be updated on the club website within the next week:

Thank you for your patience during this time.

Clubhouse refurbishment update

The refurbishment is going according to plan and hopefully we can have an official ribbon cutting ceremony in a few weeks.

Please note that the men's toilets are under refurbishment and please use the ladies toilets until further notice.

Bar Staff Required

Dear Members,

We are relaunching Brondesbury Sports Club Bar this Spring and are looking for new bar staff to work evening and weekend shifts starting in early April 2017.

Opening hours will depend on club demands but there are likely to be up to 30 hours of shifts up for grabs each week.

You will be paid £8 an hour and will be provided with full training, so although bar work experience would be preferable it is not essential.
.
Please let us know if you are interested by replying to [email protected]

New Club Secretary

With some friendly encouragement and information from board members I have agreed to take on the role as club secretary and Madeleine Abramson is going to continue as the Neighbour Liaison. The club is deeply indebted to Madeleine's three years in this role, which she executed with energy and professionalism.

To answer a question which some might be asking, my signature shot on the court will continue as usual.

Clubhouse refurbishment

On Monday 6th February for duration of approximately 7 weeks the refurbishment of the club house will commence including works on toilets and shower rooms.

The ladies toilets will not be available and ladies will be able to use the men’s toilet room downstairs instead. We will fix a new lock on the main toilet door on Sunday and it could be locked from inside to avoid any confusion.

We will keep you up to date of the progress.
