Club News March 2014

At last the pitches and courts are drying out, so it is time to spend more time down at Brondesbury.  You have surely noticed the absence of trees between the car park and the cricket pitch. We had to remove the Leylandi along this side as they were all diseased. We will shortly be replanting this line with willows. The trees will only be 2' tall initially, but should grow to 8' by the end of this year. This does mean there will be very little protection from 'flying' cricket balls in the car park when a game is in progress. During the cricket season, we will be reminding you that you always park in the car park at your own risk.

Just to let you know we now have a Facebook page - so you can stay up to date with Club news and events.

It would be great if you could 'like' our page, so please have a look.

Also, we are about to purchase 2 new table tennis tables - one will replace the current table in the back room at the Clubhouse, and the second one will be a permanent outdoor table by the Tennis Pavilion. Bats and balls will be kept in the Tennis Pavilion for everyone's use.

We are going to be having a table tennis tournament on Tuesday 25th March starting at 6pm to christen them. To register for this, please email [email protected]
