Grand Toilet Opening: Sunday 6th Oct
The day includes the following activities:
• Junior Finals
• The Great Brondesbury Bake-Off
• Videos from the club archives
• International Team toilet-roll relay (400m)
• Afternoon tea & social tennis
So ... get granny’s recipes ready, dust off your running shoes and stretch those hamstrings.
The cakes will be judged by the previous winner, Jane Oxford Whitefield. In the event of a tie, the Brondesbury clapometer will decide the outcome.
Entrants for the relay need to send their team name (and the names of 4 participants) to Matt and Marina by Saturday 5th October. Each runner will complete approximately 100m and the baton will be a roll of the finest quilted Andrex. Prizes for the most inventive name - and the winning team gets to use the toilet first.
The AGM, focussing on the new court, will follow on.
