The series of club talks begun recently by Richard Abramson, with his 'Vengeance in Venice", continues this Sunday, Nov 11, when I will talk on 'Political stability depends on sentiment, not reason - the great debate in print between Edmund Burke and Thomas Paine over the French Revolution'. The bar will be open from 6pm and the talk will start at 6:30pm.
