NatWest Cricket Force Day this Friday April 1st / welcome to PHCC

On this Friday 1st April 2016 is our NatWest Cricket Force Event, see the advertisement pdf here . Staff from our local NatWest branch, The Gym, and the local community will come together with our own volunteers to try to make a difference to the facilities at our club. This will be reported on by both local and national press.  There will be a renovation programme, where the materials have been donated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Nat West, and local builders merchants Jewsons.

Middlesex Cricket Board (MCB), as the governing body for cricket in the local area, is delighted to be working with the ECB and Brondesbury Sports Club, as one of four EXCLUSIVE national showcase clubs for NatWest CricketForce 2016.

For further details regarding the event and how you can get involved, please contact Adam Wilson (1st XI Captain at Brondesbury Cricket Club) on 07756783444 or  [email protected]

We look forward to seeing lots of members lend a hand on April 1st. Tennis and squash members are welcome too – we need benches varnished, weeds round the courts removed, changing rooms redecorated.

Primrose Hill Cricket Club

Hopefully you have been into the club house and seen the redecorating work going on there. This is mostly thanks to Primrose Hill cricket club (PHCC), whose Colts section have merged with our own Colts. PHCC are also helping with upgrading the Cricket facilities – a modernised Scoreboard, new Astroturf Strip and new practice nets. This is an amazing opportunity for both Bron and PHCC.

Details of the new coaching programme is to be found pdf here . If you have kids – boys and girls – keen to play cricket, please go to www.primrosehillcc.org/bron  or get in touch with Sara Perry at [email protected]

Primrose Hill Colts will start with us on Sunday April 17th. From this date the Bar will be open to all on Sunday mornings for coffee and refreshments.
